- ½ Cup macaroni (or other small pasta)
- ¼ Cup dehydrated ground beef
- ⅓ Cup marinara leather
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 Cup of water
Combine dry ingredients in freezer bag.
On the Trail
Heat 1 cup of water to a boil. Place freezer bag in koozie and carefully add hot water. Seal bag and let rehydrate for approximately 15 min, kneading often.
Add cheese and olive oil and enjoy.

Note: Olive oil has a high caloric value. I carry a 3 oz squeeze bottle of olive oil, with marks per tsp, to add to various meals.
If you find your pasta is not rehydrating well you may try cooking it al dente at home and then dehydrating it.
