I now have my food plan complete. The lunches consists mostly of snacks and/or no "cook" food. This meal plan will require 7 oz total of fuel. All "cooked" meals are homemade dehydrated meals and are just add water freezer bag cooking.
The final weight for 7 days/6 nights came in at just over 10 pounds and averaged 3,022 calories per day (for the full days). I am fairly happy with the weight and calories.
The food prep and planning has definitely been the most time consuming part of this trip for me. I have learned a few things and can apply this plan to future trips. I will still be looking for lighter higher calorie alternatives and options.
